Why online therapy, and does it work?

We work online with clients because it means you can access support from a place comfortable for you, at a time convenient to you, without the hassle and expense of travelling

But crucially we have also chosen to work online because it works

Research evidence* demonstrates that online counselling is just as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy, with video-based therapy achieving particularly strong results

Practical tips

We will work together using a secure online platform that is safe, confidential, and easy to use.  You do not need to download any software or have any special technical skills

To maintain confidentiality your therapist will use a laptop, web camera, and headset and microphone so you can be sure that no-one can overhear your sessions

It is best for clients if you can join sessions somewhere quiet and private, so that you can feel comfortable and able to speak freely
