How we will work

FREE initial assessment

Successful therapy is built upon trusted relationships. In the initial assessment we will meet online and discuss what you are looking for from therapy and how things might work.  You can then choose whether or not you want to proceed to work together

Regular sessions

In our first session we would discuss and agree how we will work together, discussing crucial issues such as confidentiality and how often and when we will meet. You can book and amend sessions through our easy to use Client Portal

Session costs

Each regular 50 minute session costs £95.00.  We offer a 10% discount if you prepay for blocks of six sessions

Peace of mind

BACP registered, professional indemnity insurance cover in place, and subject to regular supervision

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will we need?

This will depend on the issues you want to explore

Short‑term therapy focuses on specific goals and practical change. Across roughly 6-12 sessions, people often work on clearly defined issues such as managing anxiety, improving communication, navigating a recent life transition, or developing coping strategies for stress

Longer‑term therapy allows space for deeper exploration and gradual transformation. With more time, and through more sessions, people can examine long‑standing patterns, relationship dynamics, attachment styles, and formative experiences that shape how they see and interact with others

How frequently would we meet?

We would meet regularly on the same day and at the same time, ideally weekly but if not at least fortnightly

This helps maintain momentum and build a consistent rhythm that supports meaningful change

What about holidays or if I can't make it?

Sometimes things happen (perhaps you are due to go on holiday, or you are feeling unwell) and we can work around that

At our first session we will discuss how we are going to manage that together

Our Client Portal also allows you to reschedule sessions if the need arises
