Is work feeling like a load of old BOLLARDS right now?

There is a bollard on my local Highstreet which made me think about pressures at work.

The bollard has been in place for a couple of years. It is situated on a complex corner which requires a careful and precise turn to navigate properly. But this doesn’t always happen and the bollard is continually bumped, knocked over and scratched.

Every so often it is repaired, but not properly, and the scratches and dents remain, and increase over time. Do you find that work sometimes feels like that?

Demands flying at you from all sides?

Complex work needing to be done at pace, with no proper time to do it?

You get bumped, but are expected to pick yourself up and keep going, without having proper time to recover?
